So maybe this time it will work?

Well here goes again, What a Christmas time! For some reason for me this has been one of the best Christmas times i can remember. We have had some good church services, awesome opportunities to serve the community, and have had good family time as well. one of my favorite parts of the holiday has been my attempt to hand deliver all my Christmas cards. Ok, well I ran out of time and didn't get to everyone, but next year I'll start earlier! i think my new years resolution is to never send a card to anyone in town this year. Instead I'll go and hand deliver, if there not home I guess they will get it in the door?, how much closer would are church family be if everyone did this? maybe while we were delivering cards everyone would miss everyone else, maybe? what do you think about no more stamps? do you enjoy it when your pastor just stops by or is it an annoying?

God Bless

Comments (4)

First Time

Ok, so if you know me you know that I'm not much of a writer, and I'm even less of a speller so I want to apologize before hand. If you are reading this and you are not related to me then thank you.

Well it has already started out to be a busy week this week, especially since I decided to redo the web site. The old one was a mess and it was very hard to change things. Now two days later I'm still not sure we are better off but at the same time maybe we are!
Today I read a great article on the origin and history of church pews, it brought up some interesting thoughts about how maybe the pew has had a major impact on our worship. The article says that because we now face the front and only look at the backs of people heads (instead of mingling with people the way they did for the first 1600 years of Christianity) that this may be part of the reason we have a entertainer/entertainee idea of worship. What do you think? If so what do we do about it?

Have a great day, I love ya, and so does Jesus!

Comments (11)
